UPDATE TO SHAREHOLDERS REGARDING REAL ESTATE OPEN HOUSES
This is a reminder that Open Houses,
which are being permitted in order to accommodate shareholders selling apartments,
may only be conducted according to the following rules. These rules have been
revised, effective February 13, 2006, in order to address the building's
security concerns, minimize disturbances to other shareholders and avoid
confusion and congestion in the lobby.
1. Shareholders who wish to hold an
Open House any time on Monday through Saturday must notify the door staff 48
hours ahead of time as to the day, date and time as well as the names of their
broker and other designated representatives.
2. Shareholders who wish to hold an
Open House any time on Sunday must schedule their Open House with the door
staff at least 48 hours ahead of time but no earlier than the previous Mondav for one of eight time slots that have been set aside
for Open Houses each Sunday as follows:
11:30 - 1:00 p.m. - up
to 3 Open Houses
1:00 - 2:30
p.m. - up to 2 Open Houses
2:30 - 4:00
p.m. - up to 3 Open Houses
If any shareholders request a Sunday
time slot after the 8 designated slots have been scheduled, they will be given
first choice of time slots the following Sunday, or, may schedule an Open House
the same week on another day.
3. All shareholders, brokers and any
designated representatives participating in Open Houses must wear nametags
while escorting potential purchasers anywhere in the building.
4. If a shareholder is conducting an
open house, or if an open house is being held by a real estate agent, the shareholder
or their agent or other representative must accompany the prospective
purchaser at all times while they are touring; the building. Staff has been
instructed that under no circumstances will a prospective purchaser be
permitted to go up to an apartment without being escorted by the shareholder,
the shareholder's agent or their designated representatives. Prospective
purchasers must be escorted from the lobby to the apartment or anywhere else in
the building and escorted back to the lobby by the shareholder or designated broker
or other representative.
